TS EAF mounting kit for TS Optics 2" Crayford focusers
The kit allows the adaptation of the ZWO EAF motor focus to the 2" Crayford focusers from TS-Optics and GSO. The EAF motor focus eliminates the need for dual-speed because the adjustment is very fine. On the other hand, you can use the appropriate programs for computer-optimized focusing and for example also compensate for temperature.

The connection to the focuser:
Since the focusers do not have a flat surface for clamping the motor focus, the motor focus is clamped to the focuser housing with a transition ring. This is very simple:

♦ Remove one of the two adjustment knobs on the focuser and put the coupling over it instead.

♦ Remove the base on the focuser and put the aluminum ring over the housing.

♦ Insert the axis of the ZWO-EAF into the coupling and attach the ZWO-EAF to the extension arm of the ring. By carefully turning and moving the ring, the focuser axis and motor axis center themselves.

♦ Then first fix the grub screws on the coupling and then fix the EAF on the focuser by slightly tightening the two plastic screws on the ring.

♦ Done - you are ready to start with motorized focusing.
