The short adapter allows connecting accessories with M54 thread to 2" receptacles

♦ The adapter can be separated into a short adapter from M54 to M48 with 1.5 mm length and a 20 mm extension tube with 2" outer diameter.

The adapter allows connecting photo acessories with M54x0.75 threaded connection to 2" receptacles. It is suitable for CCD cameras, filter wheels ... with female M54 connection thread.

At the telescope side, the adapter has a 2" filter thread which can accept 2" nebula filters.

You can also separate the adapter into a short adapter with male M54 thread and female M48 thread and a M48 extension. This barrel fits directly into your 2" focuser. It has no safety groove and thus cannot tilt.
