The TSFRE50 is more than just a finder. The fine 2-element objective with 50 mm diameter already shows many hundreds of deep sky objects. But the finder can also be used as a guide scope.

The crosshair eyepiece is included in the scope of delivery:
The eyepiece has a 1.25" barrel, so it can be removed from the finder and used on the main telescope, for example to calibrate a GoTo mount. The eyepiece has 23 mm focal length and an apparent field of view of 55°. In combination with the 50 mm objective with its 204 mm of focal length you get a gigantic true field of view of 6.1°, which is more than 12x the diameter of the full moon.

The crosshair eyepiece can be illuminated. The matching illumination is linked in the accessories section.

Autoguider for the TSFRE50:
The focus of the finder is about 5 mm behind the 1.25" receptacle of the focuser. This is sufficient for many eyepieces, such as Plössl eyepieces.
The finder is also suitable for autoguiding, but the autoguider must have a 1.25" housing or you will not be able to focus. Suitable autoguiders include:
