Heated dew caps or dew heaters are a popular and effective means of preventing dew. However, too high a heating power will deteriorate the image of the telescope. With a dimmer you can prevent dew formation and at the same time prevent the optics from heating up too much.

The dimmer is suitable for one dew heater and is simply attached between the power supply and the heater. The dimmer fits directly to the power cables of the common dew heaters or dew shields.
