In terms of colour, the dew shield fits perfectly to the EdgeHD 800. Mechanically, it also fits to the C8. The dew shield is clamped to the tube with screws and protects excellently against dew.

On the sides, two notches are made for dovetail bars (Losmandy or Vixen style).

If you want to make a flat-field, this dew shield is necessary. You can attach the flat-field film or flat-field generator to the dew shield.
